โทนี่ เหลียงเฉาเหว่ย นอกจากเป็นนักแสดงมืออาชีพแล้วยังมีอีกอย่างหนึ่งที่เฮียเหลียงชอบมากก็คือการเป็นนักร้องนั่นเอง เฮียเหลียงเป็นคนที่เล่นกีตาร์ได้เก่งคนหนึ่ง โทนี่ เหลียงได้เริ่มออกอัลบั้มแรกในปี 1986 โดยในช่วงที่แสดงซีรี่ย์ของทีวีบีเฮียเหลียงก็ได้ร้องเพลงประกอบซีรี่ย์เรื่องนั้นด้วย เช่น Police cadet '85 (ขวัญใจโปลิศ), ดาบมังกรหยก ร้องคู่กับ เหมยเยี่ยนฟัง นักร้องชื่อดังของฮ่องกง , ศึกลำน้ำเลือดและเดชเซียวฮื่อยี้  หลังจากนั้นเฮียเหลียงก็ได้ออกอีกหลายอัลบั้มทั้งจีนกลางและกวางตุ้ง อัลบั้มล่าสุดคือ Wind and sand ในปี2002 ซึ่งขายดีมากเป็นซีดีเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์หลายๆเรื่องของโทนี่ เหลียง เช่น Infernal Affair , Hero , My Lucky star และรวมเพลงเก่าที่ฮิตของเฮียเหลียงไว้ด้วย โทนี่ เหลียงเคยให้สัมภาษณ์ไว้ว่าตอนนี้คงจะร้องแต่เพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์เท่านั้นค่ะ
